Teacher Shoutout
Mrs. Shanna Korjenek
Fueled by coffee ☕, outnumbered by chickens🐔, and still trying to pronounce Constantinople! Mrs. Korjenek is a teacher, site supervisor, and proud Vine veteran of five years! She's also a mom of a 10th and 12th grader (send tissues! 😭). She loves kids and youth ministry because where else can you get away with acting like you're 12?
Grace for the Journey
Keep Showing Up
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
Parenting can feel like a lot sometimes… you're packing lunches, breaking up arguments, checking homework, an Uber driver to all the extra curricular things, and you are just trying to keep everyone moving in the right direction.
Does it ever feel like the little things don't matter?
Guess what? They do.. more than you know!
Every prayer you pray, every conversation you have, every correction you give, every hug, and every time you point your child back to Jesus is planting a seed.
You may not always see the growth right away, but God is working in the hearts of our children. Your faithfulness matters, even on the days when you feel tired or wonder if you’re making a difference.
So keep showing up. Keep praying. Keep loving. Keep pointing them to Jesus.
You don’t have to be a perfect parent…you just have to faithfully keep walking with Jesus and invite your children along. ❤️
